       제 생각은 같으면서 다릅니다. 제가 보기에는 현재 워드 프로세서를 쓰는 이들이 워드 프로세서를 잘못 쓰고 있는 듯 합니다. 워드 프로세서는 그 이름이 그 기능을 제대로 표현한 것이라면 LaTeX이나 XML/CSS/XSL ([http://www.w3.org/Style])과 마찬가지로 사람들에게 내용(Contents)에 집중할 수 있도록 도와 주어야 합니다. 표현(Presentation)을 어떻게 할 것이냐는 내용과 가능하면 최대한 분리시켜야 하고요. 현대적인 워드 프로세서는 이미 그것을 가능하게 하지요. 즉, template와 같은 기능을 제공하니까요. (Spinger Verlag, Addison Wesley 등 출판사에서는 가능하면 LaTeX으로 원고를 제출하는 것을 권고하지만, MS Word template도 같이 제공하더군요.) 하지만, 주변에 보면 MS Word나 Star Office에 Template 기능이 있는지 모르는 사람이 대다수더군요. 즉, 워드 프로세서를 쓰든 LaTeX을 쓰든 웹에 올릴 문서를 작성하든 내용과 표현을 엄격하게 분리하는 것은 대단히 중요합니다. 그런 의미에서 KTUG의 html도 좀 손볼 필요가 있습니다. font tag을 비롯한 표현 방법을 지시하는 tag이 내용에 대한 tag과 섞인 곳이 꽤 많던데, 표현 방법에 대한 것은 모두 CSS를 쓰도록 고치면 좋겠지요. 옆길로 샌 감이 있지만, [http://www.csszengarden.com]에 가시면 CSS의 '위력'을 보실 수 있습니다. 또, [http://www.sitepoint.com]에도 한번 가 보십시오. 한국의 웹 디자이너들이 이런 곳에 가서 공부 좀 하고 웹 디자인을 한다면 얼마나 좋겠습니까? --신정식
