1990년 Yannis Haralambous가 만든 blackletter (old german) 스타일의 글꼴인 Gotisch, Schwabacher, Fraktur, 그리고 Baroque initials을 사용하기 쉽게 Walter Schmidt가 만든 글꼴 꾸러미가 yfonts이다.

설 치 ¶
MiKTeX 풀버전에 설치되어 있다.
새로 설치하여야 한다면 설치 패키지가 없는 경우 다음 위치를 참조하라.
- LaTeX 스타일 파일은 다음 위치에 있다.
/macros/latex/contrib/yfonts/
- 폰트 파일들은 다음 위치에 있다.
/fonts/gothic/아래에 {yfrak, ygoth, yinit, yswab}
- Type 1 폰트는 다음 위치에 있다.
/fonts/ps-type1/yfonts/

사용법 ¶
서두에 \usepackage{yfonts}를 올린 다음,
- Gotisch: \gothfamily 혹은 \textgoth
- Schwabacher: \swabfamily 혹은 \textswab
- Fraktur: \frakfamily 혹은 \textfrak
- Baroque initials: \initfamily 혹은 \yinipar

pork barrel” projects. Doesn’t it take as much or more fossil fuel energy to produce a given
amount of ethanol energy? Maybe the ethanol lobbyists and producers aren’t telling us
the full story?

Gothic : \gothfamily or \textgoth
Schwabacher: \swabfamily or \textswab
Fraktur : \frakfamily or \textfrak
그리고, 문단 첫장식문자(initial font)인 yinit를 제공하구요. frakfamily의 경우, glyphs 약간 넓고 stem이 조금 얇은 ysmfrak 도 제공합니다.
